Paint Colors & Mood

Selected the right paint color can be a difficult thing. Keeping in mind the mood that each color invokes can help with your choice. Here are some color hues and the rooms they are suitable for.

Blue is the most popular choice for bedrooms as it represents peace and tranquility. The color blue causes the body to produce calming chemicals so there is no reason for you to feel blue in blue.

Green is another relaxing color as if you are very close to nature. Its different shades can be used in different parts of the house such as kitchen, living room and bedrooms.

Should you wish to unleash the rebel in you, then choose red. This fiery color also increases appetite that is ideal for dining rooms.

To put a touch of optimism in your own home, paint the walls yellow. It enhances concentration so it is a great motivation to stimulate brain cells while in study rooms.

If you want to make it plain and simple, choose white. This color symbolizes innocence and purity, which can be perfectly matched with just about any home design.
