* Square fronted gutters: these gutters are made to hide the very ends of the roof sheets and, as such, include slots which are designed to make the water flow more freely during the heavy rains.

* Smooth line gutters: these gutters are much like the half round ones, except that they are flat backed and typically used to fix internal brackets.
