What Glaziers Do

Glazing and glass are two entirely different things.  They cover installing glazing on doors and windows, and the actual manufacturing of glass and products which are made of glass.  A glazier will typically come right into your home to do the former, and they can perform these tasks and others:

·       installing and replacing the glass in doors, windows, and so on;

·       installing windows, door frames, and other associated structures;

·       measuring and cutting the glass so it will fit into the proper space;

·       fitting the glass into its proper place and then securing it;

·       weatherproofing the joints;

·       assembling any prefabricated units;

·       replacing glass;

·       glazing and/or re-glazing the windows and doors
