Buying Power Tool Accessories

You finally got that new power tool you've been keeping your eye on, but that is just the first part. Now you need to dress it up maybe with a 24tooth circular saw blade, or how about bi-metal reciprocating saw blade. With so many options out the how will you choose the right one? Here are a few tips for buying power tool accessories.

A good rule of thumb for cutting is the more teeth you have the smoother the cut. IF your cutting through ply wood you would usually have more teeth then you would use for framing. This is also true for reciprocating saws. If your cutting through metal you will need more teeth with finer groves, while for most wood applications you will have less teeth with deeper groves.

If its drill bits your after you should stick with titanium coated bits, they will last much longer than standard steel. If your going to be drilling through steel or other metals you should think about cobalt bits.
